About Us
The Breastfeed Solution is founded by Iris Lim, a certified Lactation Consultant by the Certified Breastfeeding Consultant (CBC). Iris specialised in lactation consultation and therapy services, including clinical management consultation on breastfeeding (lactation) and therapy services since year 2016.
Breastfeeding is becoming more and more common as parents begin to realize that breastfeeding has nothing but benefits for both mothers and babies. Breast milk contains the ideal nutrition for infants. It has a perfect compound of vitamins, proteins, and fats -everything a baby needs to grow. Though breastfeeding is a natural ability, it is also learned art; therefore it is very common for mothers to seek help from lactation consultants during the early breastfeeding days.
Lactation consultants are professionally trained to assist mothers in managing and solving common breastfeeding problems such as latching pain, sore nipples, low milk supply etc. Lactation consultants is also clinically trained to handle more complicated issues such as diagnosing low milk supply and assiting mothers with premature babies.
In Malaysia, the low awareness of the availability of certified lactation consultants and breastfeeding consultants services has lead ot pain and suffering of many mothers due to inappropriate breastfeeding, especially for many first time mothers.
We, The Breastfeed Solution is therefore established to provide professional lactation and breastfeeding consultation and therapy to save and help mothers away from breastfeeding problems such as experiencing pain due to inappropriate latching. Breastfeeding is the first step to raising healthy babies.
